WEEKEND REFLECTION--the reader in 'purple'

Not too crisp a shot, but it was from far away. Kind of cool how the sides of his head are shaved, all but for some pony tail hair.

See other reflections at James' WEEKEND REFLECTION.

Oh, I love this portrait... I tried to imagine it in b/w but you just could not leave out that gorgeous shade of purple against the gray of the chair and his attire... great capture!

Looks like a trendy place, and I like the bright color.
He looks like he is relaxed, - and interested in sport(?)
- Have a nice weekend!

Love it Bibi, it's amazing how many men go for that look these days! Love the splash of purple in the reflection.

Good job from far away! I like the reflections and sense of movement they convey.

But I don't understand people that do funny hairdo's that way. Looks rather like a college professor. Or a priest. :-)

As long as he doesn't brush the pony tail over the bald top.

Would love to have written Gaelyn's comment!
Such a good capture.

Genie, I thought it might be good in BW, too, but I tried and it wasn't!

Gaelyn, fully agree with you!

A very cosmopolitan image - I love it!

Like the many aging hippies in The Peoples Republic of Berserkeley - chrome of dome, but clinging to their oh-so-1968 pony tail!

Oh Bibi, street photography isn't about tack sharp, it's about the image you capture that is so fleeting. Excellent ( said with a French/southern accent) I think this has so much interest, so much to look at.
