WEEKEND REFLECTIONS--Trash collectors

When I was a child, we called the men who came to pick up the garbage 'garbage men,' a term which makes me cringe now.  'Sanitation' worker sounds too pretentious, so I've settled for 'trash collector,' hoping that won't sound like it's someone who actually makes a collection of trash.  :-0

I still use the term garbage men, but I've heard trash collector used as well.

I'd never really thought of the name. I think we call them garbage men.

Great picture for such a meaningful thought.

Great reflection. (We called them garbage men and thought nothing of it.)
