AND THESE ARE CALLED...?


 These statues, leaning against the facade of a building downtown, and whose heads seem to bear the weight of a ledge above, have no name that I could find. They're not caryatids, which are free-standing supports, nor statues in niches, nor are they statues in a tympanum.

In any case, in view of the horrendous May 3rd school shooting in Belgrade (the likes of which had NEVER been seen before), and another punk-criminal shooting in a nearby town the following day, these statues seem to be  bearing the country's grief.
