I don't go down this street often, but every time I do I stop and look at this door and its magnificent decoration above the lintel. (I learned a new word...that's the flat 'shelf' the oval decoration is mounted on.)
Once-upon-a-time this entire building stood proud, but now, like quite a few here, it's fallen into disrepair.
