SKYWATCH - The Ušće Tower

The Ušće (OOOSH-chay) Tower, located on the confluence of the Danube and Sava Rivers.  (Ušće means 'mouth' of a river.)  Ušće Tower is the tallest skyscraper in Belgrade, capital of Serbia, and the second-tallest building overall, after the Avala tower. It was the tallest skyscraper in the Balkans until the construction of the Avala Tower.

Got this shot when I managed to make it to Kalemegdan park early....and caught the mist.

See other skies on SKYWATCH.

On my way to visit friends on San Juan island. The ferries still are magical to me. Notice the flag is at half-mast, most likely for Rosalyn...
