Reference to surrealism?

At an exhibit of vintage objects a few weeks ago, I came across this window in the museum with a figure that reminded me a lot of the Belgian surrealist, Rene Magritte, whom you can see in the bottom photo.  No one was around to explain this figure's presence or why he seemed to want to enter through a window.  Unexpected juxtaposition is one of the characteristics of surrealism, so perhaps someone who set up the exhibit wanted to see if anyone 'got it'. I did, I guess.

They say young and small  OYSTER MUSHROOMS  taste best, but I hardly ever see anything but the big ones. They're still good.....
