Given that Seattle and this part of Washington are prone to wetness, I've always admired the variety of moss and lichens. I love the various shades of green, texture.... Not a surprised that Seattle is dubbed The Emerald City.

it was only 2:30 in the afternoon, but this young lady was all ready for some special occasion.

We have moss here and I love looking at it.
My husband's grandfather used to pull moss off of trees and stuffed it handmade pillowcases and sold them. That was over 100 years ago.
