All the news that's fit to print!

Here are the newspapers I buy on a daily basis. Politika, on the lower right, is printed in Cyrillic, while quick-glimpse Blic (Flash) and Danas (Today) are in the Latin alphabet...oh, yes, and every Monday Politika prints a selection of articles from the New York Times in English, along with a handy dictionary of terms on part of one page. This helps those Serbs who are reasonably fluent in English to further enhance their knowledge. And I like to read it, too!

Don't know how you find the time to read 4 separate newspapers. I have trouble getting through one. Of course, I do read a fair amount of news coverage on the internet, so guess that counts.

Good Monday to you!

Hi, Chuck! Old habits die hard. I learned to read Cyrillic through Politika, so I keep buying it... My husband likes Danas, and I got addicted to Blic somewhere along the line. The NYT is Politika's fairly recent addition, and of course it's not as voluminous as the real one!

Cool, I like that you're working through such a varied diet!

Do you find that the slant differs considerably in each? Does this even extend to stuff like sport?

Hello, Kris! There are many newspapers here to please just about every political slant, sports fan, gossip seeker, etc., so no one's left out. During a recent hospital stay, I was "treated" by well-wishers to the local scandal sheets just for fun...and it was!

Your mastery of languages, especially Cyrillic, amazes me. I like the photo you posted today. Nice work.

It amazes me that you can read all 4 papers!! I can hardly finish flipping through one! Have a pile of newspapers in my bedroom that I have yet to finish reading.

Cheers,
