Old car, new car.

This was a quick shot out the window (we were driving slowly....) on a trip out of town the other day. The billboard is advertising a "Champion Offer" by Ford, whereas the car below is advertising a mechanical, bodywork, and painting shop. The choice is yours!

What a contrast! :-)

Allegorically, the condition of the Ford Motor Company is more like that of the red car than the shiny new ones on the billboard!

"Louis" remembers that you are on vacation, but he's still checking in. Saturday was Flag Day in the U.S.

There must be a city ordinance against high signs or that Ford sign would be way up there and you would not be forced to look around an old car to see it. LOL

I like the old car, it's certainly more picturesque!

I think this reperesents perfectly the state of the car industry in the UK. Vanilla Sky comes to mind. Do you want the ugly truth or the beautiful fantasy. I really like this image. Your observatiion and quick thinking shine through.
