Reflections Weekend---Cooling off

This of course is a statue, one created for BITEF, Belgrade's summer arts festival, but many humans (and dogs!) also often cool off in Belgrade's public fountains.

Check out other reflections on Newtown Daily Photo.

UPDATE: Do you know that yesterday Belgrade recorded the highest temperature in Europe? 38 degrees C.

Interesting sculpture -- He does not look as if he is enjoying his time in the fountain -- He seems a bit tense - hah!

Great concentration of red and reflection from what must be a canopy for the cafe. Hope that you have a good weekend.

I like it! Belgrade looks like a wonderful place to have a camera. The red reflected in the water looks really cool.

VERY interesting—and I love the red reflection! (Assume Genie is right about where it comes from?)

I hope that red on the water is reflection. Otherwise that guy is really in trouble. Interesting.

I love this and the reflection is amazing.

Genie, thanks for your comments. Indeed, the red reflection is from large Coca-Cola umbrellas from the cafe!

Too funny! He looks very disgruntled at finding himself in the water.

What an incredible pic... The title is so well chosen, with this refection red at the surface of the water... Great work indeed.

That is such an unusual sculpture for a water fountain. Love the red reflected on the water!

Glad to see he's staying out of the "red" water ... tomato sauce?

Highly unusual sculpture!

He makes me laugh, too, but I also love him.

PICKLED RED ONIONS

My grandmother used to make these around Thanksgiving and now so have I.  Great as a tart side, in salads, or in a leftover turkey sandwic...
