Reflections Weekend... À la recherche du temps perdu

This window of old clocks makes me think of Marcel Proust's À la recherche du temps perdu (In Search of Lost Time). I photographed this window when the shop was closed, but must really try to see if they'll let me take a photo inside. Stepping into the shop is like entering another era... I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, enjoy the reflections...especially the one of that cute little black dog.

Yes, this is, indeed, a very timely photo. :~} And your cute little dog makes it! I took pictures in a clock shop in Florence, much to the owner's chagrin. Perhaps if I'd asked first . . . nah, I think he still would have said no. But good luck.

The clocks make a great subject for reflections, a bit of a double entendre. The little black dog fits into the scene perfectly!

Bon weekend, mon amie!

THE ROOF CAVED IN....

Well, not the entire roof. Just the back side, which is not visible here. Every year I make a gingerbread house. Notice I said 'made,...
