No, it's not Moscow, as you might think from the red poster behind these members of Belgrade's special forces. The poster is advertising renovations to Hotel Moskva, (Hotel Moscow) which I've shown you several times. These well-padded boys were stationed for possible reactions to a recent political protest meeting. All was peaceful....

Cool shot and neat reflection! I really like your header photo too!
Love that red backdrop but the sight of the shields is a bit scary!
Bon weekend,

Very interesting image Bibi.
Very nice shot and reflection! I'm glad it all stayed calm...
Une pub qui flanque la chair de poule... Brrrr !
certainly looks peaceful at the moment!
These guys look like they're prepared for violence—glad they had none to deal with. Good capture!
Lots of interesting reflections going on in this shot.
A rather sobering line-up of the well-dressed civil servant.
By the way, I do like your new header photo. Very romantic -:)
nice banner shot Bibi!
& wow, these guys look serious.
Definitely out of the ordinary and unusual. Reminds of the G-20 conference in Toronto last summer.
Took me by surprise. At first, I thought this was moscow daily photo!
I find it interesting that they chose to line-up in front of that particular banner. It's a photo-op if I've ever seen one. What was the political protest meeting about?
