THEME DAY: postcard-worthy

HDR-ed this one, but since the Theme Day is 'postcard-worthy' and postcards are often retouched, so....

This is part of an outdoor museum in the small town of Sirogojno, a couple hours' drive south of Belgrade.

Weathered timber is the nicest of natural materials. I am glad you chose it for us.

Great minds...you were commenting on mine as I was looking at yours. That roof is amazing. Ditto the effect you've given this photo. Very nice.

Very unique place...haven't seen many "outdoor museums." Love that fence. :-)

No, I didn't dance. I stayed well back so there was no chance I would get asked. Sheesh! I was also close to the door so I could run if I saw them heading my way!

Wonderful choice! Reminds me of a beautiful hand-tinted vintage postcard.

What a beautiful building in a beautiful setting with a dramatic sky. HDR definitely works here. I really enjoyed the virtual tour of "Staro Selo". I have not seen villages and these type of buildings before.

This is a beautiful, scenic postcard, and I love the weathered roof. Great theme today!
