WEEKEND REFLECTION--Out of Africa?

This restaurant on the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers reminds me of when I was in Africa for a short while.

This photo: wow! And where in Africa were you exactly?

Hi, Alexa. Was in Cameroon for a while and parts of the Sahara at another time; neither looks particularly like this, but the photo reminded me of other parts of Africa I've only seen in photos.

What a fantastic scene. Wonderfully composed. But I agree. If you hadn't told me I would have thought you had just returned from vacation in Africa or South America!
