Neither rain nor sleet nor dark of night....

'Neither rain nor sleet nor dark of night' is the U.S. Postal creed. Not sure if the 'rain or sleet' would deter these avid chess players from finishing a match, but the dark doesn't seem to bother them.

Daily Haiku
Silently they sit
Contemplating their next move
Hoping for checkmate

That postal creed is a bunch of bunk if you live in a rural area!!! We're the ones who slosh through the snow to get to the PO Box!!!

I'm also impressed that two of them aren't even playing, just watching (or maybe they've bet on the outcome).
