SKYWATCH--Mraconia Monastery


This is a photo of the Mraconia Monastery in Romania, seen from the Serbian side of the Danube on my way to Lepenski Vir, which I showed you on Wednesday.  The area above is referred to as the Iron Gates.

A very dramatic picture. It might explain why monks are not so good in crowds unless it's a crowd of like-minded monks. :)
