It had been very windy recently, so the flapping of this sheet across the street from where I was walking alerted me. Nice blue! I miss drying clothes on an outdoor clothesline, complete with clothes prop, like my grandmother did.

When I was a kid my mother dried the wash on the clothes line. It was all hands out though if it started raining.
I love the movement of the sheet uncovering its shadow !
I never line dried clothes until I had my own house (until then, we lived in apartments including when I was growing up in New York City) but I did it for many years. For some reason, the shadow reminded me of Batman. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
