Paperwhite narcissus is native to the Mediterranean region, but grows very well here in Seattle...indoors. I think this plant on my daughter's shelf is happy it is not outside in the cold and endless rain we've been experiencing.

I wonder if cherry red is the most eye-catching color. I have a feeling it just might be.
