Paperwhite narcissus is native to the Mediterranean region, but grows very well here in Seattle...indoors. I think this plant on my daughter's shelf is happy it is not outside in the cold and endless rain we've been experiencing.

I don't think I've ever seen on of these flowers before. I love them though, looks like they have a tiny face on them!
