Skywatch--Never a Moment's Rest

The statue of The Victor that stands in Kalemegdan Park never has a moment's peace. Birds in his hand all the time, and the occasional bird on his head, shoulders, or above him.

That's pretty neat especially with the birds flying around. It reminds me of the post on my Dallas blog the other day, but the birds in his hands were real but looked like part of the statue.

Those birds are part of the statue right? :-)

Statues are for the birds.

Actually, Jacob, birds are for the birds—especially pigeons! On the other hand: very cool Skywatch, bibi!

Really? So, the birds in 'his' hand are real birds? Anyway, this is great pic!

The birds in his hand (worth two in the bush, as the saying goes, ha, ha) are part of the statue!

Fun picture! I wonder if the real birds are ever momentarily fooled?

Nice shot. The statue looks like the perfect spot for a bird to rest.

Statues and birds do go hand in hand but this image does take the biscuit.

Bibi,
CHeck out my post today. I tried to get a shot of the statue at Trocadero of the lady holding the bird with two pigeons perched on her head and shoulder. I wasn't quick enough and they were flying off. Love your shot though.
