Nothing like a good, cold beer on a really hot day, and in Belgrade it's been really hot for a while. Pages 30 and 31 of this .pdf document (a magazine with some other very interesting articles)have an article on the Fructal line of products. In a nutshell, the Fructual Alko products are fruit based but alcoholic. Other Google searches were written in a language I cannot read, but perhaps you will be able to do so.
I can't help it; if something interesting pops up on a blog I'm reading, I just *have* to see what I can find out!
Fun post! Just noticed this entertainment news item - Andrew Firestone, star of "The Bachelor" ABC-TV reality show, married Serbian model and actress Ivana Bozilovic Saturday (The Associated Press). I wonder if they served Serbian pivo.

Hi! Thanks, Pat, for your explanation. I actually knew that Fructal produces juices, but what I'd meant (but poorly explained) was I hadn't realized that perhaps they make an alcoholic drink...but they don't!
