Slaving away

Not easy even being a bush these days, especially a lovely topiary creation like this one. Seems as if the statues behind him had other plans for this little guy and didn't want him just standing idle. Water those petunias! (Can you believe this photo was taken just three days ago in nearby Pancevo? It was a freezing cold day, with a major wind...I wonder if the flowers survived.)

Looks like 3 works of art in one place/ one photo. Excellent find! & glad you stopped even on a freezing day.

The art seems to be very prolific in Pancevo! Three art forms in one picture.

What a really interesting feature! I love these little bushy chap!

The flowers look like pansies, they are designed to stand the cold weather and carry on flowering. Perfect for the winter! :)

If the snow comes soon they'll probably be preserved ... for a while, at least. Wonderfully fun post, from topiary to toothy grin in the background :)

The wall in the background blends in so well...and although it's a totally different style, really seems to fit the scene. Interesting topiary, as well.
