Hold still is what I wanted this dragonfly (I think it is, but it may be something else....) to do. It flitted all around, hardly touching down for a second. But I got him...and he's looking at the camera, too.
(And yes, that's sunlight you see, finally! I hope it sticks around.)

Did you get this shot just before it jumped at you?

That deep aqua color simply glows in the sunshine. Great capture!

Enfin l'été! Quelle belle introduction!
Beautiful! A perfect summer moment.
I love those critters ... and getting one to pose is super!
Amazing color! Dragonflies are so graceful. I also like their Italian name: LIBELLULA.

He was probably wondering, "What is this creature with one big eye?" Great shot, Bibi!
Wow! this is wild Bibi! thanks for alerting me. These guys are usually so fast, it really is amazing that you captured him.
Wow, what a beautiful color he is.
Lovely, Bibi. I went to a movie once and saw a dragon fly. :-)
Are you a teacher to inspire such discipline!!!
He's got his wings "closed"... does that mean he is friendly, wary or hostile?
