After the snow melts, a city can look really gray and dismal, especially when the sky is gray, too. A short while back, I was out on such a day, and this splash of color caught my eye. I like the different textures on the walls, too, and the patterns of the windows.

Lots of peeling going on.
But the apartments look poor and sad, and the face reflects that. What's the metal thing on the right, a simple soccer goal?
Love all the textures in shades of brown and gray, and then that little pop of color.
c'est bizarre, au fond, avec ton traitement, on dirait que les bâtiments sont des trompes l’oeil.
A bit of color in an otherwise dreary landscape... hurry, spring!
Bises,

Hi Bob! I think it is one of those metal constructions that people put a rug over and beat it to get the dust out, but it is probably now a soccer goal as well.
The face on the wall reminds me of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. :-)
These types of colorful images are what make an otherwise dreary landscape bearable.
Nice catch Bibi.
Me too .. I posted a similar thought but very different photo on my blog ..
