SUNDAY BRIDGES--New Belgrade highway bridges

I HDR's this a bit to make an otherwise drab photo look a little better...notice all the traffic seems to be heading toward downtown rather than in the direction of the airport. I took this photo when I was returning home one afternoon (by bus) and got off above. Glad I wasn't heading downtown.

Notice the new helipad on the building on the left.

See other bridges at Louis La Vache's SUNDAY BRIDGES.

I think with teh situation in the country more people would like to
head to the airport direction...

Traffic on the bridge is no different than in by hometown.

It breaks one of the rules of photography (relative to point of view) but I like it a lot and rules are made to be broken! There's a lot to see and take in. The HDR is a nice effect, too. Wonder why, in the afternoon, so many folks are heading downtown rather than the other direction?

The HDR effect makes this look almost like 3D. Nice job!

The traffic looks normal for Chicago!

I always feel a little smug when I am heading in the opposite direction to stalled traffic!

A lot of buses though: it's a good thing.

THE ROOF CAVED IN....

Well, not the entire roof. Just the back side, which is not visible here. Every year I make a gingerbread house. Notice I said 'made,...
