Jaywalking

It was Sunday a.m. when I took this photo, and not many cars were on the street, but this woman, whom I've shown you before chose to jaywalk across the street.

She seems to be wearing footwear that are more like slippers, and fortunately that day she didn't have to  hurry.  When I uploaded the photo, I noticed the sneakers on the bus behind her...

Daily Haiku
Steadily she walks
Determined, independent
As when she was young

An interesting slice of life shot.

She certainly seems ancient, at least by body pose.

Excellent picture!
Everything is on it including the feeling of sadness I feel watching it.

A very provocative shot! Who is she? How old? Is she suffering from a degenerative back problem? Is she all alone?

Great capture!

Funny juxtaposition with her slippers and the bus sneakers. Nice shot of this woman, but people living on the margins of society like this make me sad.

Glad there wasn't much traffic as it looks like she's doing a shuffle.
