WEEKEND REFLECTIONS--Briefly back to Serbia Part II




The other day I posted a photo from Kovilj Monastery in Serbia because I had received a essage from a Serbian composer in the US who is interested in bringing several of the monastery's monks to NYC and Chicago this March to perform, singing medieval chants.

Votive candles are one of those things that was completely outside of my experience growing up- you just didn't see them in the churches I attended.

What is your involvement in their NY and Chicago appearances?
