Definitely lost in thought.
My camera tends to have an audible sound when I take a shot.
Take the shot and smile (smile). Actually I understand the stealthy approach but I'm not very good at it. You have to wait until there is some noise to cover the click ;)
For as much time as you're spending in coffee shops you're in the right area. Sneaky lady.
