Oh, this is a sad one for me. Hotel Balkan was one of Belgrade's oldest, and this part had been a cafe (and very nice restaurant waaay back there), called The Orient Express. I'd posted about this place before.
It seems it's going to be revamped....one more piece of history may bite the dust. I took this photo through the front door window.

Hopefully whoever sets to work on it doesn't do too much in the way of drastic change.
As long as they keep a few details...
