The Victor is back





 The statue of the Victor that stood in Kalemegdan Park is back.  It had been temporarily removed for refurbishing and today was returned to its elevated pedestal.

 Many thanks to my friend Marianne who took these shots!

When you view The Victor now up on its pedestal, you'll notice the pedestal leans somewhat. The restorers have only reinforced the pedestal, afraid that if they righted it, it might crack.
