This wreath of dried flowers with three heads of garlic graces a doorway in Pancevo, about 12 kilometers from Belgrade. I often see wreaths like this, but without the garlic. Garlic is known for being a healthy food (I love it....), and for keeping away vampires, but that legend isn't popular here.
But just in case...

I told a colleague a few days back the garlic isn't welcome by my kind. Along with sunlight, holy water, and wooden stakes.
