The first of the month on CITY DAILY PHOTO is THEME DAY! This month it's transportation.
I live in Belgrade, Serbia, a large cosmopolitan city. Years ago I lived in Paris. In both places my preferred means of transportation was/is by SHANKS' MARE, in other words with my own feet.
I walk for the enjoyment of walking and photographing, but honestly in and around the city center, reaching one's destination is often much faster by foot.
My foot is the one in the purple sandal. The others belong to two former CDP bloggers in New York City.

The original and oldest mode of transportation, I like it.
Ah. I can tell my age. I much prefer your sandals. Thongs for walking, no longer. Their pedicures do look very nice in spite of all the exposure.
I'd stub my toes in those.
