Where's Waldo?

I hadn't started this blog when it was theme day for wall art/graffiti, but I like this photo, so I'll post it now rather than wait until the same theme comes around again. It reminds me of those "Where's Waldo?" books, which are sold in Serbia as "Gde je Gile?" (Guh-DAY yeh GEE-lay)

oh my, this looks like a lot of work by some spray can artists. Here graffiti often marks the turf of a street gang. Does it have any signficance there?

My, oh my! That's amazing art. I love the stairway lines in this photo. Thanks for posting ... a very cool picture! I think Waldo's on his way UP -:)

No, no gangs in the American sense here. Just a lot of spray-painting youth!

I can't decide if this is one monumental mess or am I starting to like it. I see Waldo.

Graffiti was one of my first posts. I seldom see grafitti here, so this is
mesmerizing. I'd rather live in a world of colour and free expression, than a drab grey monitored one.

In the UK it's "Where's Wally," and yes I see him.

Wow! You are so right. This really would have been a great Theme Day: Graffiti post :)

I guess at some point the authorities just gave up trying to keep the walls graffiti free!
