Sister soul

While out walking the dog and scouting for photos yesterday, I came across this lady walking through a field in New Belgrade. Veronika explained that she photographs "everything," and is especially interested in graffiti, which unfortunately covers just about anything here that doesn't move. Yesterday though, she was photographing wildflowers and taking home the small bouquet that you see here. I told her about my blog and all of our blogs, so she may be checking you out. How nice for me---she let me take her photo without my having to resort to a "belly shot." Thank you, Veronika!

You guys should stay in touch. She is a beautiful young lady and that she loves photography is a bonus.

I made it this morning to look at your post and then I am off for a lung test. I hope to be finished with all tests and back to normal by the 12th or soon thereafter.

Your photograph is really nice, as usual.

I found your site by clicking on your url from someone elses. I liked your dog photo. Anyway, it's nice you meant someone who is also interested in photography. I'm like her, I'll photograph just about anything.

P.S. I was looking through your photos and love your people shots. I have added you to my favorites list on my blog here: http://discoverpa.blogspot.com

Cameras offer a great way to meet people

Good for you and her. I've discovered over the years (and years) that most people are flattered that you want to photograph them. Usually all that's necessary is a simple question, often even non-verbal. I frequently shoot first, then ask, and then shoot some more.

What a nice lady! And I love that she's like me - wanting to document everything, even the generic stuff people wouldn't think to photograph. I think it'll be fun to look back in the future, and see the way my bedroom looked, or my laptop, or something!

Helloooooo, Veronika! How nice that she was comfortable to pose. I often feel awkward about photographing people.
