Gimme Shelter!

You may think I'm on a music gig with my Purple Rain title yesterday and my reference to the Rolling Stones' song title today. But this pup was seeking shelter from our cold weather that we had a little while back. Oh, if those curtains just hung down a little bit more...

I often feel very sorry for the many stray dogs in Belgrade. It's good to know that many of them are fed by kind locals, but what they really need is a home and a family to call their own.

A sweet shot, Bibi. I know how your heart goes out to these dogs because you take such good pictures of them. I'll bet you wish you could take them all in.

I would take this dog home. I want a second dog, but am hard-pressed to convince husband that we need one. :o) Rescuing one from the cold streets might just do the trick! And this one is so adorable...

Are there a lot of stray dogs there?
