Have you hugged a turtle today?

IT'S DRY
Hot and dry. Leaves on the ground crunch when you walk through them and it seems the green ones are hanging on for dear life.

Not something you see on the street everyday.
I guess turtles are hug-able too! Fun snap~!
Well, now, what is this all about? Must be an advertisement for some thing or some shop. Cute, though, and certainly an attention-getter.
It's for sure the biggest darn turtle I've ever seen.
I'm trying to figure out how tall the person inside actually is, or is everyone else just small? It's a great moment on the street, makes me smile.
I love all the life on the sidewalk, and your turtle capture makes it bright and fun. What a lovely spot. I hope you enjoyed your cafe time and bit of warmth. Downpour here all week, with only one brief sunspot. I feel like hibernating :-).

Hah! I can identify with the lazy (read long lens) technique. I think you ended up with a better image because of your laziness, though. The compression makes the sidewalk more crowded and intimate as well as allowing you to sit and enjoy your own personal space. Perfect -:) And Kim is right. Miserable here, unless you're either masochistic or a duck.
I totally agree with Chuck—and he should know, after all! You didn't even have to budge from your cozy cafe chair to capture a great photo.
So you didn't need a hug that day?!
Great photo.
Cool picture! I is very warm in Austria, too...
Have a nice week!
I'd love a turtle hug! So glad you waxed poetic on Menton DP today!
He seems to be looking at you. I think he wanted a hug.
