ABC Wednesday 'G' is for 'Go, Greenie!'

It's fairly rare to see a Deux-Chevaux model like this green and white one, even in France anymore. This one has the little half-windows that you can stick your arm out of like this fellow did. I was unable to see if the doors open 'backwards,' i.e. the hinges would be where the door handles usually are on other cars. This car is really well taken care of, and quite peppy. I love Deux-Chevaux.

And hey! Look at the insignia on the rear of the Peugeot! Save for a crown on his head, it looks just like my beer bottle lion from yesterday!

See what others have posted on ABC WEDNESDAY.

I wonder how far it has travelled

I was wondering the same thing as Mo -- how far has it traveled? And it really doesn't look like the most comfortable of cars, but as long as it gets you where you need to be, who cares? Fun post for the day!

That is a very cool car, but I am not so sure if I will drive that small if we have snow storm here in Michigan ^_^. Happy Wednesday.

So cute, and in my fave color, too! I've seen one in the area here which was a treat. Great catch, Bibi! And I cracked up at the sighting of the look-alike lion in the same shot!

Fun looking car. I think it should have a big wind-up knob on top. Pretty color.

What a cool car! Cars in the USA have become so boring.

what you have portrayed here are very huge feelings, maybe even erotic ones ... :-)

just kidding, i like oldtimer-cars-aficionados, they are usualy pleasant folks, at least those folks i know.

I think I could love it, too! It's much classier than the Peugeot with a pseudo beer bottle lion. :)

Looks like the car's been maintained properly, looks almost new to me. It's a classic beauty!

I haven't seen a 2cv for years, probably decades.

I don't think I've ever seen one of these, but it's very cute! And like you say, well-preserved...looks new!

A wonderful car but it's no Yugo.

Boy, this takes me back—to Paris many years ago, when every other car on the street was a 2cv. Possibly the most uncomfortable car I ever rode in! (But I miss them anyway.) Bibi, you're very observant when you're driving :~}

YES! «Louis» likes the 2CV, too! He wants a 2CV almost as much as he wants a Packard Caribbean!

A very smart 2 CV and right, I'd not noticed the similarity between the Peugeot's insignia and your beer yesterday. Well we are having a French time of it in Belgrade!

I see some brown-ish - beige 2CV almost every day. And my brother bought one (for fun). Btw, such doors are called 'suicide doors' :)

Odd-looking vehicle. But it's green, so THAT's a plus.

Oh, the Deux Cheveux! We used to see so many of them, and now, hardly at all. Did they rust away? Shame, they were such a cute little car!

THE ROOF CAVED IN....

Well, not the entire roof. Just the back side, which is not visible here. Every year I make a gingerbread house. Notice I said 'made,...
