Raspberries....

Yum. I love raspberries, and Serbian raspberries are the best. They're exported far and wide. To read more, have a look at this site. Currently, they're about $1.70 a pound.

Do you eat your berries with or without sugar?

I did not even know about this Serbian reputation! I know now, thks.
We eat them as dessert with or without sugar depending if the "we" is feminine or masculine... :)
Tonight: raspberry sorbet (150gr sugar/20cl water - 600gr raspberries + a few lemon drops)

I love berries. They are probably one of my favorite desserts during the summer. No sugar on mine either.

The ones here are often a bit sour—so with sugar, please. Yours look absolutely perfect as is. Were they?

Today I passed my university exam and I had question about one raspberry's disease. I got 10, so raspberries are now my favorite fruit. :)

I just picked a bunch. We get lots of berries and I have to freeze them. I prefer no sugar.

The "Europe's Best" brand of frozen fruit actually uses Serbian (and Montenegrin) raspberries and blackberries, check the packaging!

Serbia is the world's number one exporter of raspberries & my parents' native Iran is the world's number one exporter of nuts-which is how I ended up in the US.
