This a photo from last spring, but I need to 'shoot' more bridges... This is an archway in Kalemegdan Park on the other side of which is a wooden bridge. You can see its railing on the left!
Check out other bridges on Louis La Vache's Sunday Bridges.

Fabulous composition, Bibi! I love everything about this shot.
Such beautiful old stones! I like the way you composed it too.
This one is a great picture. Love the stones.
Tell us more about Kaelmegdan Park, Bibi - The arch looks like it might have been there since at least last Thursday...
;-D
«Louis» thanks you for your contribution to Sunday Bridges.
I love the stonework.
& this really is a lovely capture too.
archways are dramatic subjects. the stonework is beautiful.
Great stone work. I like the contrast between the crisp bulky arch stones and the soft almost misty background. You always make people work out so well in your compositions.
Hi, Louis! I have made quite a numer of posts on Kalemegdan like this one that will tell you a bit more about the park.
You'll see it's much, much older than last Thursday....:)
Well, Ming was visiting me last Thursday, and this definitely looks older than he did -:)))
Beautiful! :)
Beautiful, atmospheric photo.
What's not to like about that! The warm colors of the stone contrasted with the wood railing... the short view, the long view... just a great shot!
ditto to all the superlatives, Bibi, quite a wonderful photo! But who is she and where is she going -- this could be the opening shot of a great mystery story set in Beograd.
Great job on this one. The colors and light are perfect and the person gives it a sense of scale. I do remember this park...old Roman ruins?
I love the texture of stone wall
what every one else has said.
What a beautiful photo! I love the bold colors of the brick wall :)
Love the feel of this image, Bibi!
the arches make a lovely frame
I love it! Arches always make nice frames for photos. Great shot!
