SERENDIPITY
It's not the first time I browse through yard sales and thift shops. Every now and then there is something that just 'speaks to me' like this dainty Chinese tea cup.

PENSIVE
Here and there around Seattle are pieces of oversized artwork. I wonder if she's thinking of a New Year's resolution.

PEEKING IN ANTICIPATION
Last evening was the annual holiday concert at the school my grandson here in Seattle attends. I was so impressed....most of the players in the orchestra (he plays the trumpet) had only begun to learn an instrument in September and did a smashing job. OLD-SCHOOL ICE CUBES
I am a thrift shop junkie and was thrilled yesterday to find these vintage ice cube trays that sell online for $20+. These were two for $4.00.
They each make 18 big and long-lasting cubes and the trays are opened with such a safisfying crrruuunch.
