Laundry

If you have read my blog for a while (I know, I have been seriously neglecting it.) you will know that I have a laundry fetish.

And this photo reminds me of a rooftop garret I had in Paris once-upon-a-time.

Gloomy...

A gloomy photo that would not have looked much better in color.

Belgrade is having (and probably for some time) some serious air quality issues.  Nobody seems to be doing much about it....

On the other hand, Serbia has finally banned plastic bags...but they still abound.

SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY...phone shot...

Since I've gotten a  new puppy, it's hard for me to carry my camera. This is a really bad phone shot of Belgrade's main post office with the moon on the left. What looks like a bright star on the right is of course a street light.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS -- reflections...sort of...

Kind of cheating on this one for James' WEEKEND REFLECTIONS. This is a painting with color added on the buildings and moon, and 'reflected' in the river.

Bajina Basta

Bajina Basta (BAH-yeena BAShta) is a town in the Zlatibore region of Western Serbia. You can read about it here.  Every year there is a Drina River Regatta and this cute little cabin is a focus point. Lots more boats around then!

Six ladies

Six ladies adorn this door downtown. I haven't ever seen people's faces on door glass like this.
