TWO WOMEN

 

Yes, it seems the woman on the right saw me and suspected I snapped a photo. But I was very nonchalant, and she didn't question me. Lap shot thanks to adjustable screen.

I HAVE FORGOTTEN....

 In keeping with my self-imposed Monochrome Month of March meme, here is a photo of a statue of....oh....I have forgotten who.  Shame on me.

NOT HER DOG

 I have an absolutely wonderful, generous, self-effacing, soon-to-be 92 years old friend.  A former colleague to top it off. She lives in a divided  house on the ground floor with a big garden shared with the family upstairs.  This is THEIR dog, who has let herself be adopted by my friend, for her own family neglects her..  They leave her out in the cold, no decent shelter, and so on. She's just over a year and a half old.

My friend let her in once to sleep in her hallway. Chloe has now moved on to the rest of the house and has found her spot on my friend's 'good' couch.

No one minds, not even me.

Not just night flowers of course; they are undoubtedly colorful from the inside, but to me they're still attractive in black and white.

 Continuing my self-imposed Monochrome Month of March Meme. These lovely paper white narcissus brighten my day. It's been raining and gloomy.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

 Today, March 8th, is International Women's Day, though for me, every day is Women's Day.

Looks like the ladies  haven't hit this bar yet, but it is now only 8:23 a.m. as I type.

SUGAR BOWL IN MY FAVORITE CAFE

 Continuing with my self-imposed Monochrome Month of March meme, here is a sugar bowl in my favorite cafe. Actually, I should revise that to say it is my favorite cafe in the morning hours when I usually go. I took this photo around 5 p.m.  Maajor traffic, stinky and noisy, on the street, so I imagine that is why no one else was sitting there.

But I got a good photo...

OFFICE CHAIR

 Continuing with my own Monochrome Month of March meme, this is not your typical office chair.  However, it is used every single weekday, Saturdays, and sometimes Sundays by a woman selling cheap clothing at her stand on an outdoor market. Doesn't look comfortable at all, and she needs a real cushion.

NIGHT KITTY

 I am not a cat lover, although I have known some cats that I like. In general though, for me they're too quiet and sneak up on me.  This one came out of the doorway and gave me the evil eye....or so it seemed.

NIGHT TEXTER THROUGH WINDOW

 Some may not agree, but I've always maintained that if you don't draw your curtains, I can take your photo. And I did, in this case catching a woman oblivious to my presence outside. In reality, I find most texters when outside are oblivious to presences outside as well.
