Mysterious traveler....

Another "taken while stopped at a light" shot. I couldn't make up my mind which version I liked better, so I posted them both. Which do you prefer?

Nice! I like the color version, I think the blue is interesting.

I like the black and white. It makes the picture look old and somewhat mysterious. I wonder how it would look sepia toned?

I for once don't have an opinion. Both have merit. I'm with you on this one. Hmmmmm.

They both look like something from a Thriller movie! The black and white one gets to me more...... Great capture!

Oh, I prefer the black and white. More mystery and atmosphere.

I am currently on a La Carré kick, so I like the image in black and white. Very noir-ish.

I like the color one the most. Interesting how there seem to be as many opinions as people commenting - and that's for only 2 choices. I think the blue makes it other-worldly.
Thank you for your compliment on my moon shot. I have a night setting on my camera & then I took it down a couple more stops. The shot was at twilight and was much nicer color than the final result, but to get the moon exposed properly the sky comes out like that. :( Ppusa at Helsinki DP (his photo instructions blog) and Eric at Salt Lake DP (I think last month) have a good instruction on how to shoot the moon.

I like the color version the best ... for me, bw seems to so often suck the life out of an image.

I like the top one better, probably because the colors are muted yet rich.

The b&w is very noir, and the color is very sci-fi. Both have an atmosphere of mystery. What mood do you wish to convey?
