Zemun towers--SKYWATCH

The tower on the Church of the Nativity of the Holy Mother of God rises in front of Janos Hunyadi's tower in the Belgrade municipality of Zemun (ZAY-moon). Read more about
Janos Hunyadi's tower right here.

And why don't you join SKYWATCH?

What fine, ornate towers. What passes for modern architecture just doesn't equal these old buildings in beauty.

De belles lignes contre un ciel bien pur avec tant d'histoire derrière!

I am crazy about towers in general, clock one's in particular, these together are like poetry.
I have an impressionistic pastel of Hunyadi's 'kula' ... I'll send you a photo of it to you next week.

Bibi, whether you realize it or not, your comment at New York Portraits is a nice take-off of aissez-les manger le gâteau! ;-)

What a great shot .. the warmth of those bricks and the brass brighten the otherwise dreary skies ...

Great shot! I like the way they seem to reach for the sky.
