Zemun towers--SKYWATCH
The tower on the Church of the Nativity of the Holy Mother of God rises in front of Janos Hunyadi's tower in the Belgrade municipality of Zemun (ZAY-moon). Read more about Janos Hunyadi's tower right here.
I am crazy about towers in general, clock one's in particular, these together are like poetry. I have an impressionistic pastel of Hunyadi's 'kula' ... I'll send you a photo of it to you next week.

What fine, ornate towers. What passes for modern architecture just doesn't equal these old buildings in beauty.
Very interesting ornate towers all of them have interest.
What lovely towers and how perfect against the sky! Marvelous capture! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

This is one towerful shot! That Church of the Nativity tower is magnificent!
Love the composition, and the church tower so ornate against the sky. Excellent capture Bibi.
Such interesting architecture!
De belles lignes contre un ciel bien pur avec tant d'histoire derrière!
Interesting contrast seeing them side by side.
This image is really beautiful. Love the towers and their colors.

So different from each other but both fantastic!
Happy Friday and happy weekend!
So unique! Looks well taken care of, too.
Bibi, whether you realize it or not, your comment at New York Portraits is a nice take-off of aissez-les manger le gâteau! ;-)
I love that black and gold tower, so interesting!
Wha an amazingly unusual tower. Never seen anything like this before.
What a great shot .. the warmth of those bricks and the brass brighten the otherwise dreary skies ...
Great shot! I like the way they seem to reach for the sky.
Beautiful shot!
