Shadows

Took this the other day when it was sunny....oh, how pleased I am that spring is around the corner....

I like this photo, but I think it might be a bit 'busy'....too many details. What do you think?

j'adore ce b&w, cette ombre semble sortir d'un conte...

I like it too. It is busy, but it is visually rich. I think it may be the dark shadows that grab the attention and then the eye wonders to the trees and then the texture of the wall. So lots to enjoy here.

The tree shadows are very pronounced, yet it is a busy photo.

There is a lot of texture here—but I think it's beautiful.

Great textures and I love your new banner.

These trees scared me the other day when I walked around Kalemegdan. I took a photo but didnt have so much luck for sun and all composition. Fantastic eye! Love your blog.

This is a lovely image. Slightly busy, yes, but perhaps green summer leaves would diffuse the scene a bit if taken in a couple of months' time.

There sure is a lot going on but it all kind of works together to make a great image. I especially like the clear shadow of that gnarly old tree on the wall and you definitely made the right choice in B&W Bibi.

It's very complex, but in multi-layered way - the texture, the shadows, the nakedness of the tree, the embrace of the tree and the light pole... It's awesome.

Now, if you added color, it would be an overload...
