BOKEH

 Still here dog-sitting and a bit photo-compromised, since haven't really been out with my camera.

But I have been  on my son's terrace where his wife has planters of geraniums.

 This pales in comparison to most murals, but I liked it because it seems like it's by a mural artist in-training. ;)

DAPPER

 It was hot the other evening and I treated myself to an ice cream....  At the table next to me was this elderly gentleman. His shirt first attracted me to take a furtive phone shot. When I enlarged it at home, I see that he was a very meticulous person:  toenails and fingernails neatly trimmed, a 'surgeon's hands,' leather pouch, comfty sandals, looks like some meds or vitamins, and a black leather wallet.

Who's he texting to?

LEAPIN' LIGHTS!

 Dogsitting and got a bit bored, since my duties don't give me much time for photos. Took this off my son's terrace last night. I knew there would be movement, but was just playing around.

Kind of like the leaping lights!

OBLIVIOUS

 I was working at my second-favorite cafe the other morning and since I always have my faithful camera with me,  I sneaked a photo of the couple at the next table. I am thankful for my very silent shutter and discreet tilting screen....

NEGLECTED AND CARED FOR

 I took this photo because I liked the colors and arrangement. I sent it to an artist friend who sometimes uses my photos for inspiration.  She replied that she wondered what the story was behind these blooming potted plants, and the shabby window and neglected facade. Now I do, too.

FEET MEET

 Looks like a lot of young feet, too. Probably discussing where they're going to go on a hot summer evening.

PAST GLORY

 I don't go down this street often, but every time I do I stop and look at this door and its magnificent decoration above the lintel. (I learned a new word...that's the flat 'shelf' the oval decoration is mounted on.)

Once-upon-a-time this entire building stood proud, but now, like quite a few here, it's fallen into disrepair. 

MONDAY MURALS: Zappa Barge

 Not sure if this barge alongside the main bridge connecting New and Old Belgrade still functions. Not sure either if all those people are murals or posters... I'm hoping there's at least one mural so I can participate in MONDAY MURALS.

SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY---in the garage....

 In New Belgrade there are many underground garages under high-rise buildings. They're illuiminated, but still kind of spooky. Quite a few scenes from local and foreign gangster movies have been filmed in them. I took a shortcut to the supermarket through one and found this shadow.

HANGIN' AROUND

 A couple of street musicians hanging around under the statue of Prince Mihailo on Belgrade's Republic Square.  The plaques read Belgrade, Smederevo, and Kladovo, some of the cities liberated by Prince Mihailo in 1867.  Other cities have plaques on the other sides.
