Sneaky phone shot. This lady is enjoying either a wheatberry sweet or ground chestnut sweet with whipped cream....can't tell. But both are really good at Petkovic's sweet shop. Been around since 1901.

SKYWATCH--across the river.

"I can see clearly now," is what I can now sing....but there has been major fog here.  This is looking across the river from the old side of Belgrade to the new.

Vessels

These may look like vessels that come from the Far East, and I saw many similar ones in India.  However, they were photographed at a friend's country house.  She assured me they're local, but old.

Chinese New Year

Last Saturday was Chinese New Year, welcoming in the Year of the Rat. Yours Truly is a Rat.

I hate crowds, so I avoided the crowds in Kalemegdan Park that day, but went by today.

I believe this 'bronze' chariot is a reproduction of some of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's army figures in X'i-han, China.
