CANINE ABSTRACT

In light of still attempting to see what sets off Facebook bots when  I post my blog photos there (the last three have been removed...but I still post just the photo, without the link), I am posting an abstract of my granddaughter's dog's ear.  I hope FB won't find it offensive. That said, you can find patterns everywhere, even in a dog's ear.

SKYWATCH--SWALLOW OVER THE SAVA

Went for a walk the other day along the Sava River in New Belgrade. In the background you can see one of Belgrade's bridges joining parts of the town to a large and popular river island.

See other skies on SKYWATCH.

SORTING HER MERCHANDISE

Gypsies or Roma, as they prefer to be called, live on the fringe of our society and do a great deal of salvaging cast-off items that they resell and also are major recyclers of paper, plastic, and tin cans. This woman was just setting up shop when I passed.

MELON TIME

No surprise to tell you it has been darn hot here--high 90s, slipping into 100s from time to time. I indulge in melons, all kinds, from wat...
