WHAT HAPPENED TO THANKSIVING?

I love Halloween. It's a fun holiday. My favorite holiday though is Thanksgiving. No hype, close family at most tables, non-denominational, and no presents. I think I have answeredmy question about why many stores don't carry inflatable turkeys or Pilgrims. Thanksgiving is not a major money-making holiday like Christmas and Halloween...sad, but true.

What remains of three crabs....I had Buddhist thoughts of impermanence when I saw them.

I wasn't ever that supple and need I say that I still am not?  Granddaughter doing a handstand on the beach at Seabrook, Washington.

"WALKIN' MY DUCK NAMED DOG"

I thought of THIS SIXTIES' SONG  when I saw this pair stroll by in Seabrook, Washington, just before Halloween.

THEME DAY: MY FAVORITE PLACE IN TOWN

I am not in Belgrade for a while, so cannot photograph my favorite place there. In Seattle, I rummage through thrift shops. This is of course not a thrift shop, but a neighborhood Little Lending Library operating on a 'take one-leave' principle. And occasionally I do.

See other  'Favorite Places' on CITY DAILY PHOTO THEME DAY.

Apples

At first glace I thought these were quinces, but they're apples.

STROLLING BY THE CHURCH

I sneaked several shots of this young woman who was non-chalantly strolling by St. Marko's church downtown.
