A beautiful urban sunset over New Belgrade. The 'smoke' from the stacks on the left is actually just steam from the heating plant....

That's just a beautiful picture. Each of the three women add an element and that garish blue wall in the Fulton Street station grabs your eye.
I agree. It's sad to see someone alone in a world so packed with people. Safe travels.

Possibly she likes solitude, but otherwise, yes, it's sad when the elderly are lonely and neglected.

It's a great shot, although that lady looks like she would be alone in a crowd of thousands! So sad to see.
I do find images like these heartbreaking. It could so easily be anyone of us, especially in these lean and often uncaring times. Bibi you are naughty. You always get me to moisten around the eye area.
if only we could get all the alone people together...
